Re: Heat Advisory

Susquehanna Township takes this weather advisory very seriously. At this time, Girls and Boys soccer have scheduled scrimmages, and the boys and girls golf teams are out at matches. Game officials will make sure that teams stop for additional water breaks during the scrimmages. Coaches have been given ample water to make sure athletes are hydrated and will monitor all players while they are in the heat. All practices will have a water break every 15-20 minutes. We also, have encouraged all coaches to make sure they are hydrating too. The athletic training staff will be on site as well to administer medical care to any athlete or coach that may need assistance. We will also provide water for any teams visiting our school for competitions.
